Cookie Policy

Last updated: 19 August 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how Minerva Software ("Minerva", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on minervasoftware.co.uk. Read it with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. PECR and the UK GDPR set rules for their use.

2. Our approach

  • We currently use only essential cookies needed for security and basic functionality.
  • No analytics, advertising, or social media tracking cookies.
  • Customers cannot create accounts; any client accounts are created by Minerva staff.
  • Package pages lead to an enquiry form; there is no online checkout.

3. Cookies we use (essential)

  • Session cookie (e.g. laravel_session) – keeps you logged in; session-lifetime.
  • CSRF token (e.g. XSRF-TOKEN) – protects against CSRF; short-lived/session.
  • Cookie notice acknowledgement (cookie_notice_ack) – remembers banner dismissal; up to ~180 days.

Names and lifetimes can vary by environment but remain essential-only.

4. Third-party resources

We may load assets (e.g. fonts/icons) from trusted CDNs to deliver the site. These providers may see your IP and basic technical data. No third-party analytics/ads cookies and no sale of personal data.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you block/delete cookies or clear them on close. Blocking essential cookies may break the client area.

6. Future changes (non-essential cookies)

If we add analytics/marketing in future, we will display a consent banner and give controls to accept/reject categories and change choices anytime.

7. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy and will change the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide a notice.

8. Contact

Use the website enquiry form. We do not provide a dedicated email for cookie enquiries.
